Air Sculpture is Adrian Beasley, John Christian, and Peter Ruczynski. They recorded Fjord Transit at the 1999 Eurosonic Festival in Valo, Sweden. While the liner notes state that they know that there are no fjords in Sweden, the notes also make it quite clear that the trio is having fun. So does the music. This is heavy-duty Berlin school electronica with all the trimmings. It encompasses the classic '70s sound and the experimental and atmospheric textures of the digital domain. The disc has three long-form compositions and they are superb pieces.
