EFIL4ZAGGIN: The Only Home Video is a DVD reissue of N.W.A.'s 1992 VHS home video EFIL4NAGGIN, a video companion to the group's EFIL4ZAGGIN album, which had been released nearly a year and a half earlier. By the time the video appeared, in fact, the group had disbanded. The film is a "home video," both in the sense that it is sold for home use and in the sense that much of it has the amateurish quality of a home movie. The members of N.W.A. -- Eazy-E, MC Ren, Dr. Dre, and Yella -- are glimpsed in poorly shot concert footage, on the streets of the Compton district of Los Angeles that is their home, and in behind-the-scenes footage during the filming of an elaborate music video for "Appetite for Destruction," in which they dress up as 1930s gangsters and rob a bank. The music video itself is also shown, as is a pool party that features several topless women. Toward the end, there is a sequence purporting to depict former member Ice Cube's desertion of the group.
