Strike, Light, Puff is a set of esoteric compositions that Earnest Woodall created from 1987-1990. Using several different devices and instruments, Woodall's sound design is sophisticated and intricate. He allows his grace and charm to enter each piece. The music comes at listeners with childlike exuberance and playfulness. This great CD will appeal to fans of Charles Ives, Erik Satie, John Cage, and Terry Riley.
