In 2004, The Beat Goes On reissued two obscure albums by rockabilly/country singer Jack Scott that had been out of print for years, Spirit Moves Me and Burning Bridges. Originally released on Top Rank in 1960, Spirit Moves Me is a traditional gospel album including "When the Saints Go Marching In," "Down by the Riverside," and "Old Time Religion," while Burning Bridges features the title track that was to be Scott's final hit in 1961. Rockabilly fanatics will want this, but casual listeners would be better served by Curb's 1990 Greatest Hits package featuring original versions of "The Way I Walk" (covered by the Cramps) and "What in the World's Come Over You."
