Travelin' Highway Man is an excellent, 20-track overview of recordings Tommy McClennan made between 1939 and 1942, offering many of his greatest recordings -- "Bottle It Up and Go," "Whiskey Head Woman," "My Baby's Gone," "It's Hard to Be Lonesome," "New Shake 'Em On Down" -- as well as a thorough biography, making this a cornerstone of any comprehensive Delta blues collection.
