The title leaves the erroneous impression that this is a solo set. Instead, it's an exciting blowing session featuring the cream of the new generation of bluegrass players who emerged in the 80s -- Sam Bush, Mark O'Connor, and Bela Fleck. But on selections ranging from a "Bill Monroe Medley" to a transcribed Mozart piano sonata, Crary and his guitar more than hold their own.
