The Good
Best all-around MP3 player in the world; tight integration with iTunes and iTunes Music Store on Mac and PC; intuitive photo and video viewing; displays album art; lets you view photos and listen to music simultaneously; speedy performance; direct digital-camera transfers of photos, which will be viewable on iPod; solid battery life; thinner than its predecessor.
The Bad
Screen too small to watch full-length movies on; no subscription option; dock, remote, and A/V cables not included.
Bottom Line
Although this excellent new iPod is still primarily about the music, its video "bonus" feature is nothing to be scoffed at.
