13 Engines

Toronto's 13 Engines released two albums on a Detroit indie label in 1987 and 1989; their major-label debut (A Blur to Me Now) appeared in 1991 on SBK. In early 1994, Atlantic issued Perpetual Motion Machine, a melodic post-punk album with feedback. The band consists of vocalist/guitarist/organist John Critchley, drummer Grant Ethier, bassist Jim Hughes, and guitarist Mike Robbins. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
