Composing melodious themes comprising distinct inspirations of alternative rock, electronica inflections, and industrial-style references, Godbox presents a unique and particular vision of modern rock. Formed in New York in 1997 as a one-sided project of Luana, the main songwriter and guitarist, Godbox eventually evolved into a composite project with various collaborations by several producers and musicians. However, over a long-term period, drummer Dave Halpern regularly contributed to the group's creations and therefore ultimately became Godbox's second member. The group's sole soundings and astonishing live presentations ultimately secured them a consistent and loyal following, mostly within the local underground scene.
