Progressive rock band from Chile formed in July 1998 by guitarist Pedro Torres, drummer Felipe Croxatto, singer Juan Pablo Coderch, bass player Daniel Undurraga, and keyboardist Juan Covarrubias. By the time Rivendel was set up, its musicians were strongly influenced by bands such as Rush and Pink Floyd. Previous projects Piedra Roja and Bitácora were Rivendel's base to reunite talent in one single band.
