Aardvarck

Mike Kivits, the man behind Aardvarck, is but one of several respected artists on the Amsterdam-based Delsin label. The producer's material largely consists of lush, melodic broken beat with the warmth of Detroit techno firmly in mind. Four 12" releases spread across 2000 and 2001 (Non Spoken, Ludiek, Re Spoken, and Nozum) set the table for 2002's Find the Cow, a 23-track gem of a full-length that vacillates between minute-long interludes and extended mood pieces. Recalling the work of the Black Dog, Sherard Ingram (specifically Urban Tribe's The Collapse of Modern Culture), and Carl Craig (specifically More Songs About Food and Revolutionary Art), Find the Cow -- one of the first single-artist LPs released on Delsin -- established Kivits as a techno producer worthy of keeping an eye on. ~ Andy Kellman, All Music Guide

Well, this is a pretty good start for and indie-rock band. Probaly won't be long until they go mainstream though... Anyway, Aardvarck rock will probably appeal to a pretty wide crowd.
