Shaping sole extents for the hardest marks of the rock genre, revealing not only their primary rock & roll influences but also their hybrid musical intentions, Absolve's compositions ultimately flow within ponderous segments of the metal style. Adam J. Morse (vocals), guitarist Matt Rantz, bassist Paul Gerrish, and Heath Davis (drums) decided to form Absolve in late 2000 in Allston, MA, after all their previous outfits failed to reach their creative expectations. After several months rehearsing, the quartet started to constantly perform around Boston's club area, continuously receiving significant acclaim. Their singular live performances brought them a rising fan base, not only locally but also beyond their state area.
