AD OMBRA is a Romanian project founded in 2005 by George D. Stanciulescu in order to allow a generous expression of his approach to aesthetic values. A dramatic journey throughout the realms of poetic symphonic tradition intertwined with darker intimate hues is the aim of AD OMBRA’s premiere orchestral writing. “Smaragdine” was released in mid 2005, also introducing Maximilian Lupu as a co-arranger, shortly followed by encouraging reviews coming from various webzines and magazines all over the world.
