Folk rocker Adam Stokes began playing the guitar as a teenager in Oklahoma. When he reached college, he began to play live, and after school he moved around the country playing at bars and coffeehouses until finally landing in Austin, TX. It was there he recorded his first album, Friends Like These, with producer and collaborator Jason Altman.
