California native, Alizabeth Jackson moved to Maryland in 2001 to study opera with Dr. William Beall (Peabody Conservatory of Music). She transitioned into jazz and contemporary music two years later and began writing, recording and performing in local venues. Alizabeth owned a studio in Easton, MD where she did a portion of her recording, often acting as producer as well as vocalist. If she's not singing, she's globe trotting, gathering material for her writing. Thirty-eight countries later, Alizabeth has penned over forty songs in her short career, combining pop, jazz and folk to create her unique blend. Alizabeth has a BA from San Francisco State University and has performed extensively with the highly acclaimed " Coming Events " group. Alizabeth currently resides in southern California. Alizabeth has performed at venues such as the Rams Head, the Historic Avalon Theatre, the Delmarva Folk Festival, the Dover Performing Arts series, the Hyatt Cambridge and many more.
