All Wound Up

Forwarding some distinct contribution for the punk rock arena, with a special enlightenment brought in by Christian inspiration, All Wound Up offers a sound that goes beyond the clear-cut pop-punk style formula. Formed in 1997, in Federal Way, Washington, by vocalist and guitarist Troy Brock, bassist Sean Flanigan, Jeremy Kirby (guitar) and Joe Meyer (drums), All Wound Up steadily started building a loyal fan-base from the very beginning of their operations. Conceiving their themes inspired by the work of bands like AC/DC or Bad Religion, the Washington four-piece easily started creating a buzz that went over the state frontiers, propelling them for constant touring seasons with groups such as MXPX or Formula One. After four years playing together, and performing on countless live shows all across the U.S., the band decided on entering the studio to prepare their first record. In 2001, Hero, the quintet's debut album, showed up trough the Tooth and Nail records label, certifying their rising recognition and notability. ~ Mario Mesquita Borges, All Music Guide
