Almost James
"Fellas, I'm ready to get up and do my thing. I wanta get into it, man, you know. Like a, like a sex machine, man. Movin' and doin' it, you know Can I count it off?." We have won Rock Hard Entertainment's Battle of the Bands, we have won Heineken's "Battle of the Bands". Next we shall win the Miss America Pageant coming up in Vegas and complete our totally kick ass trifecta. We have opened for Five for Fighting, we have opened for the VilleBillies as well as countless other bands. We have been played on the radio in Lexington and we have been played on the radio in Louisville. We play ALL OVER Louisville but would have to say that we consider Bardstown Road to be home. O'Shea's, you make me feel all gooey inside. WicK's, Girstles, Uncle Pleasant's, ZaZoo's, Dutche's, Saint's, Flannigan's, Bearno's, Phoenix Hill Headliners we love you as well. All Over Jimmy, the band, the legend, is a powerful blend of funk, blues, soul, rock, and magic pixie dust that tastes like Bourbon. Nate, the lead singer and dashing front man, brings a loud and powerful voice some would say was reminicent of The Black Crowes, or a tone def twelve year old who thinks he's alone in his room while he is jammin out to his favorite New Kid's on the Block CD. Jay, is lead guitar, and sole guitar for that matter. He lays down blues and funk like its his job and the rock has slowly oozes from his pores. Blazing speed and intricate chord progressions drift through each song. Cameron the bass player is rather indescribable. His notes and progressions are always driving and simply melodic at the same time. And he 'slaps' in his sleep. Dennis, D-Dog, Emmanuel is the man with the sticks. His drumming is the unsought for but much needed metal edge to a musical world bereft of explosive power. In short he is a bad man on the drums. His raw talent will amaze in the most staunch Micheal Bolton listener and slowly pull them toward the dark side. We're slowly trying to takeover the world one gig at a time, so please send us your love and support. Email us, call us, tell us you want to see us play. We play at bars, bars, bars, and batmitsvahs.
