New York-based fiddler Andy McGann attracted international attention with his recording debut in November of 1965. A collaboration with button accordionist Joe Burke and pianist Felix Dolan, A Tribute to Michael Coleman celebrated the music of the influential Sligo fiddler (1891-1945) and became one of the all-time best-selling albums of traditional Irish music. McGann has continued to make his presence felt.
