Anthonello de Caserta
Appropriately Anthonella who was an Italian composer. He wrote a number of pieces including ballades, rondeaux, ballate, and possibly a madrigal. Given the context and nature of the works, it is possible that there were two composers with the same (or similar) names: one in the French media and the other in the Italian. De Caserta experimented often with metrical changes, varius rhythms within the same piece, time signatures given to yield bars -- in the same piece -- with different meters, and dignified endings or more complex lines by means of augmentaion and diminution respectively. ~ Keith Johnson, All Music Guide
