Applied Communications is Max Wood, whose lo-fi, anti-rock antics consist of discordant vocals, found sounds, and a deconstruction of art. His first record, Africa Baby, Yeah Yeah Yeah, was released in March 2004 and features contributions by Chad Matheny of labelmate Emperor X.
