Banjophobia

Banjophobia was the name for a short-lived group consisting of Dutch banjoist Tom Stuip, Ronald Jansen Heijtmajer (who tripled on bass sax, alto and C-melody) and Guido Nielsen (doubling on violin and piano). The versatile group, which generally featured the banjo in the lead, performed tunes from the 1920s and early '30s on their lone Stomp Off recording. ~ Scott Yanow, All Music Guide
