Pierre Guerin (vocals, acoustic guitar, accordion), Toby Cinnsealac (tin flute, recorders, clarinet) and fiddlers Chris MacRaghallaigh and Elliot Selick formed Barde in Montreal in 1975. They first recorded their Celtic rock on a 1977 self-titled album. Images (1979) and Voyage (1983) followed, but by the time the latter LP was recorded, only Guerin and Cinnsealac remained. They were joined by violinist Jacques Joubert, bassist Jocelyn Therrien and keyboard player Richard Paquette. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
