His first solo effort was recorded by himself and titled On the Move. It was released by Holland's Excelsior Recordings in 2000, and with it, Bauer started to develop a solid critical following. Dubbe enrolled Sonja van Hamel to record their sophomore effort, Can't Stop Singing, which was released by Partners in Crime Records in 2001. Can't Stop Singing earned high marks with critics and continued with the band's dreamy revival of soft pop from the '60s and '70s. ~ Nate Cavalieri, All Music Guide
