Benjamin Boretz
Boretz studied at Brandeis University and at Princeton with Babbitt and Sessions. He was the music critic for The Nation and edited Perspectives of New Music. He has also served as professor at several universities. Boretz's compositions are deeply structured in rhythm, harmony and texture.
