Vocalist, guitarist, songwriter Ben Brown hasn’t achieved the acclaim he deserves simply because his passion for helping others excel in their musical careers has taken center stage. He has launched several bands in a variety of genres, from blues to rock to down home country to Christian rock. Brown has an ability to take his listeners by the hand and guide them to other places through the portal of music and words. He provokes an imagery and touches his audiences in a way attainable by only a few artists. Brown, like most successful artists, started his own band at the tender age of 15, playing in places where he legally couldn’t walk through the front door. A succession of musical endeavors and experiments with a variety of techniques and sounds led him to his passion to teach the next generation of musicians. In order to reach those at the crux of their lives, Brown returned to college and achieved a Masters in Music Education and tackled the tough job of reaching out to high school musicians. Brown has become that person, at the expense of a personal career in the limelight. However, with the advent of electronic touring, where an artist can be heard nationally, and even internationally, while still keeping the home fires burning, Brown has started turning heads with his professionally trained voice and unique lyrics. He has performed in small venues throughout the United States and Canada, Mexico, Europe, and Northern Africa.
