With part of their name taken from the former Beatles drummer, the three-piece of Best-McLusky are individually based in Cardiff, Newcastle, and London. Influenced by Nirvana, the Smiths, Husker Du, and the Pixies, Andrew Falkous (vocals/guitar), Jonathan Chapple (bass), and Mathew Harding (drums) got together in 1996 at the Blackwood Miners Institute.
