Big Blue Bus

The little-known acid jazz band Big Blue Bus was made up of guitarists and vocalists Ernie and Augie Guidoccio, drummer Glen Martin, bassist Paul Reda, keyboardist Steve Klodt, and one guy who played the accordion and was simply called Jaro. It was really the Guidoccio brothers who started the group, but everyone applied themselves equally after the beginning. The beginning was 1993, in Toronto, Canada. During its short life, Big Blue Bus completed three admirable singles in 1994, "Waiting for More," "Fragile," and "Broken Tree." That same year, the band saw the release of a debut album, titled Art's Jukebox. It was the group's first and last album. One tune from Big Blue Bus found its way on to the soundtrack for a small-time movie called Blood & Donuts, but little other fame was to come its way before it all slipped away. ~ Charlotte Dillon, All Music Guide
