greatmidget's Album Review for B.R.M.C.
""
Dark, noisy and absolutely brilliant
I had heard 'Love Burns' before and like it so much that i'd though i'd give the album a listen. It was an instant favourate! Noisy guitars, Ample feedback, Dark lyrics - A must listen for any grunge/noise rock fan.
The album sounds very british - something like The Verve's - A Storm in Heaven except a lot more noisy and a lot less clear but definately more catchy. The moods in every song sway alternately from happy to sad. After listening to the moderately depressing 'Love Burns' and 'Red Eye's and Tears' your next confronted with the punky 'Whatever Happened To My RocknRoll' which is not an unwelcome change and not in poor taste. These album has a variety while still keepnghold of its original theme. If your a Verve, Mezzanine(Massive Attack) fan, i suggest you give this one a try. You wont be dissappointed.
