Stig14's Album Review for The B'Z the Best Treasure

""
Greatest Hits, part 2
This is the second of two "greatest hits" albums put out in 1998 by B'z, the first being "Pleasure". I only became aware of B'z because I was living in Japan at the time that these albums came out, and had seen them on some of the music shows. Compared to some of the other pop acts, this duo was rock, and good rock at that. When the albums came out, I bought both, wanting to catch up on what I'd missed, and I'm glad that I did - this album, according to the students I was teaching at the time, comprised the more recent hits by the group, and was therefore more popular. However, as I said, I didn't really know a lot about the group, and getting both albums was definitely a good introduction. Tak Matsumoto is an amazing guitarist, and Koshi Inaba's singing is great. The songs range from hard rock to slow ballads, and whether you understand the language or not, you'll definitely be able to understand the feeling in the songs.

If you're looking for some rock music that isn't necessarily in English, this is a good place to start.
