Inspired by the usual grindcore suspects (Napalm Death, Carcass, Exhumed, et al.), Denver, CO's evocatively named Catheter formed in 1997, and has since released over a dozen split LPs and 7"s with like-minded acts such as Black Market Fetus, Fukrot, and F.U.B.A.R. They've also toured extensively, and recorded two full albums in 2003's Preamble to Oblivion and 2005's Dimension 303, with their most recent lineup consisting of Jeff Montoya (guitars, vocals), Keith Sanchez (guitars), Wally Cox (bass), and Haroldo Mardones (aka H Murder -- drums). ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, All Music Guide
