Cavern recreate the vibrant sounds of the Merseybeat era, from The Beatles to The Searchers, The Swinging Blue Jeans, Gerry And The Pacemakers, The Mersey Beats, The Fourmost, The Big Three, Billy J Kramer And The Dakotas and many others performing classic Cavern club stompers to wild Hamburg Rock 'N' Roll the Merseybeat era is brought back to life, taking the audience on a magical musical history tour right back to the birth of Beatlemania. Cavern are all Liverpool lads, and have a great love of the Sixties and Liverpool's musical heritage. Cavern use original equipment from the period, from an Epiphone Casino, and a Gibson J160-E guitar, and the famous Hofner left handed Violin Beatle Bass, to an original Ludwig drum kit. Cavern are fully self contained including P.A and lighting and hold full Public Liability insurance. Cavern perform in front of a specially made backdrops including a full scale replica of the original Cavern stage wall, the show is completed by the classic Merseybeat stage clothes of Black Beatles narrow lapelled suits, white button up collared shirts, thin ties and the famous Cuban heeled Black Beatles boots. Cavern also wear the classic black waistcoat look of the Cavern club years. Cavern have performed their unique show all over the UK and abroad, they are available for any type of function, from corporate entertainment to private parties, hotels, holiday centres, outdoor festivals, social clubs and theatres. They have had the honour of being asked to perform at the 2007 annual Beatles festival in Liverpool performing to over 10,000 Beatles and Mersey Beat fans from around the world. The boys were asked to appear again for this years festival celebrates Liverpools capital of culture year 2008, this year the boy's performed a headline slot on The Beatles story floating stage on the Albert dock to a capacity crowd, the sounds of Merseybeat and The Beatles were once again heard across the Liverpool waterfront performed by Cavern in their home city.
