Chris Bucheit
Acoustic fingerstyle guitarist Chris Bucheit began studying the six-string at the age of nine, later spending a decade as the frontman for the power pop band Big Citizen. He then turned to acoustic solo performance, drawing on an array of influences from pop to jazz to R&B to hone a style he dubbed "alternapopafolk; " in 1997, Bucheit released his debut LP Naive Work Songs, followed two years later by Hand to Mouth. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide
