My name is Chris Genzel and I was born in 1978. Early on, my mother introduced me to lots of unusual music which made a great impression on me. At the age of 14, I started exploring the world of music on my own and have since found interest in nearly every imaginable style (though preferably non-mainstream), especially in the work of Herbie Hancock and Bill Laswell. Currently, I have more than 500 CDs and records. I've recently started my own musical projects which tackle ambient, trip-hop and free improv, as well as building up my own home studio. I'm collecting movies as well (I have over 2,000) and I want to study film. I also started writing and photographing.
