Chris True
A generally confused and melodramatic man, Chris True spent the first 30 tumultuous years of his life in Michigan. Born to a music-crazy mom, he was taken in by the musical charms of Paul McCartney, Keith Richards, and Lindsey Buckingham well before he knew the joys and amusements of Catholic elementary school. Over the years, many different locations were lived in, including Big Rapids, MI, where he formed an alliance with people he would eventually convince to hire him at one All Music Guide. Mining data and writing record reviews became his bread and butter in 1999, after receiving his bachelor's degree in a speedy six years from Central Michigan University. In 2004, he finally escaped the confines of the mitten-shaped state and moved to, surprisingly, Texas to begin preparations for graduate study. He still happily writes for AMG as a freelance writer and freely admits to having too much Kylie Minogue swag.
