Christine Ohlman is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, record collector, and music historian with a particular interest in southern ("deep") soul music. She recently became a contributing reviewer for The Record Round-Up. Performing remains her first love; she fronts her own trio, Rebel Montez. As vocalist with G. E. Smith & The Saturday Night Live Band during the 1991-1992 season, she could be seen singing her heart out beside bandleader Smith.
