brandi1leigh's Album Review for Nighttiming
""
Phantom Planet grows up. Addictive.
Jason Schwartzman is primarily known for being a member of the Copola family and for acting. However, his first band, Phantom Planet, found modest succes (mostly among teens). His newest effort is "Nighttiming" by Coconut Records.
This jazzy and melodic album combines wit and with mature musical riffs. Each song is catchy. You want to sing along, but the lyrics and the melodies are mature. This is bubble gum pop. It isn't trendy, pretentious alternative. It's thoughtful, melodic and addictive.
