CommonWealth Records was formed in 1998 by Dru Garrity with capital saved from his day job as a chef. Over the last 8 yrs CommonWealth Records has be come virtually synonymous with some of today's hottest and most promising hip-hop acts from Boston. In the past year Dru Garrity partnered with childhood friend & marketing guru Dave Goldman and fellow Boston native Mark "Moke" Bistany who is the drummer for the multi platinum rock group Puddle Of Mudd to bring CommonWealth Records to the next level and expose the world to the talent in Boston's underground music scene...
