Crowded House - The Best Ever!
Having seen this band live in its many incarnations (Crowded House, Finn Brothers, Tim Finn solo and with a band, Neil Finn solo and with a band) over 90 times in tiny rooms (Largo in LA) to huge venues (Sydney Entertainment Centre) since 1986, and having listened to, inhaled and digested all of its music, I crown myself A Major Crowded House Fan and Neil Finn Finnatic! Simply stated, Crowded House created some of the best music not only of the '80's and 90's, but of all time. Their concerts were events of sheer enjoyment - lifted up by glorious music, infectious humor and levity, incredible camaraderie, spiritual communion, and a sense of you never knew what would happen next - a feat rarely achieved by mere mortals, much less "regular" bands. The connection that Neil Finn, Nick Seymour, Paul Hester and later on Mark Hart had with their audience was unparalleled. The music - sublime; listen to How Will You Go or She Goes On from Woodface, When You Come or Better Be Home Soon from Temple of Low Men, Don't Dream It's Over or Hole in the River from Crowded House - of every single track, of course, from Recurring Dream, The Very Best of Crowded House. Music from the heart - Crowded House touches your heart, soul and mind with their beautiful and at times enigmatic lyrics, soaring melodies, Neil Finn's perfect voice and amazing background harmonies. Treat yourself to a banquet for the soul - Crowded House.

Album Review for Crowded House - Afterglow
This album is made up of songs that never quite made it on to the four Crowded House albums, but don't let that put you off, on the whole I'd rank it just below Woodface and Together Alone!
