nick4spurs's Album Review for Afterglow
""
This album is made up of songs that never quite made it on to the four Crowded House albums, but don't let that put you off, on the whole I'd rank it just below Woodface and Together Alone!
This collection or orphans and strays helps to complete the picture for Crowded House fans following their farewell concert in Syndey in 1996. The songs span the length of band's life from the first album to the weeks before they split. I dare anyone who listens to the gem 'Lester' (a song about the band's "Head of Security" - a dog which got run over) not to sing it on the way home after a few pints of strong beer. 'Help Is Coming' is another stand out track and one of the last the band wrote before they split up, so never made it on to an album - but for that I'm sure it would have been a fans' favourite. 'I Love You Dawn' about Neil Finn's love for his wife is another classic in the Crowded House mould we all love. This album is no stray dog, it's a best of breed.

I watched bands for 9 hours at the Live Earth concert. The wait was worth it. They were sensational. Entertaing even for my kids who are 16 and 13. Thank You for the comeback
