The son of an Andalucian singer, Jose Luis Navarro has provided the guitar accompaniment for the four singers and dancers who comprise Granada-based group, Cuadro Flamenco. Focusing on traditional music and dances, Navarro and Cuadro Flamenco continue to pay homage to the Gypsy culture. Formed by powerful vocalist Pepe de Granada in collaboration with Manuel Salamanca, owner of the nightclub, La Pena De La Platera in Spain, Cuadro Flamenco features Granada's son, Lorenzo Ruiz and daughter, Violeta Ruiz, who choreographs the group's movements.
