Death & Horror, Inc.
A leading light of Toronto's fledgling electronic dance industrial scene, DHI formed in 1987. The band shared the stage with more prominent figures such as The Young Gods, Front Line Assembly and Alien Sex Fiend, and through the early- to mid-nineties, their CDs were distributed around the world. DHI's tracks saw numerous compilation appearances (both legit and unauthorized), while other material was flat-out bootlegged by the mid-00's. In 2008, the group commemorated their 21st anniversary by remastering and re-releasing their entire catalogue, including rare, live and previously-unreleased work. These expanded versions of the band's two albums, along with the new Emotional Lockout EP, is the first authorized output of DHI recordings in a decade (available exclusively via download, on the band's self-titled record label).
