Deedot, a 3rd-generation San Francisco native, stands among the Bay's growing stock of producers-on-the-rise who has had the opportunity to work with some of the most solid artists in the Bay and beyond. Having laid the foundation, honing his chops on the production-end for his first group, Mind Complex, deedot has taken on the primary production role for Melina Jones, Nate Krooks (w/ Kazwell), & Public Radio (w/ Paulie Rhyme of Finless Brown) – comprising the 2nd half of the latter two's group membership – within the past year. Each group is on course for 12" and cd releases this year. A dj first, deedot is also the co-founder of Pure Technique. With djs A-RON (Know Your History), Jfeeva, & Track rounding out the crew, PT is one of the Bay's mobile dj crews that are still heavily active. He is also 1/3 of Tres Beats – a party rockin', mixtape churnin' crew with co-conspirators, Dj Dubbs & Yusai. Deedot also engineers recording and mixing sessions from his space, Lil James studio in San Francisco. Riding the attention of the nationwide (23 cities), month-long Guy On the Couch Tour (in support of Public Radio) late last year, deedot is aiming to release a single with fellow tour artists Gr& Phee and Rhyson Hall (Deepthinka Records, Buffalo). On top of wrapping up projects with his respective groups, deedot is aiming to drop a producer album, instrumental LP, and a soundtrack-concept album within the next year.
