Devon

Devon is a female singer and songwriter of slight stature who possesses a very big and distinguished voice, as well as plenty of sass and attitude. She counts her musical influences as artists like Liz Phair, Tool, Bad Religion, Ani DiFranco, and maybe her biggest of all, Alanis Morissette. Devon started her career performing at clubs in and around the Los Angeles, CA, area, including the House of Blues and the Gig. In 1999, Devon recorded her debut album, Caged Bird, released under the Little Dog Records label. A few of the raw and at times hard-worded songs from this first effort are "Daddy Dearest," "Erase You," "Sick to My Stomach," "Perfect," "Hiding," and "Moderation." ~ Charlotte Dillon, All Music Guide
