Disgruntled Postal Employees

Disgruntled Postal Employees referred to themselves as an avant-garde Syrian/Irish psychedelic blues band. With Syrian vocalist Ahman (who sang only in Arabic), guitarist Dave Knott, and multi-instrumentalists Mike Hovancsek and Mike Fowler, this group was working on their first recording when the vocalist was deported back to Syria, one member developed a debilitating neurological disorder, and another member fled for Mexico, taking most of the band's tapes with him. As Hovancsek began working with his new group, Pointless Orchestra, he decided to release what tapes were left and released their only existing recording, Without a Clever Title. ~ Adrian M. Kamwell, All Music Guide
