Divine Styler
An Islamic/Afrocentric rapper, Divine Styler began his commercial career with Ice-T's Rhyme Syndicate label; he recorded two albums, 1989's Word Power and 1991's Spiral Walls Containing Autumns of Light, that strongly favored lyrical development over musical complexity. After several years off-record, he hooked up with the SoleSides family of artists and made features for Styles of Beyond, Everlast, the Beat Junkies, and Quannum.
