DJ EMURDA

The Multi-Talented Artist Know As DJ EMURDA Was The Only DJ Comming From Jamaica That Could Cut Records With Finess As This Was An Unheard Of Style On The Island, Back Then It Was All About Blends And Having The Biggest Set Of Speakers. In 1997 He Decided To Stay In The States Permanently Going To Houston,TX Durring That First Summer And Traveling Back To Florida Frequently To See Family And For School. After A Few Months In Houston He Was Introduced To A Grey Tape And Was Jamming Screw Ever Since That Day, But He Never Though Of Really Doing It Himself Until He Got A Hold Of An After Da Kappa Mix CD Around 1999 And 2000 Where He Heard Of OG Ron C. Mid 2003 He Went Back To Houston And Dissappeared From Florida Where By This Time He Sold Over 200,000 Mixtapes Between 2002 And 2004. So He Decided To Drop Chopped & Screwed Volumes 2, And 3, Volume 2 Was Least Popular Due To No Promotion And Volume 3 Was Doing Well. At The Same Time Chopped & Screwed Music Was Getting Real Big When He Heard About Watts Doing It Big With David Banner On The Missippi Album For Early 2004. Early 2005 He Decided To Drop Chopped & Screwed Volume 4 Which Was Never Promoted But Still Exists In A Hood Near You. At The Same Time The Chamillionaire & Mike Jones Situation Was Gettin Worse And Everyone And They Momma Was Doing Mixtapes On The Subject Playing Tracks Back And Forth. With That In Mind He Reached Out To Chamillionaire And Hooked Up To Do Chopped & Screwed Volume 5 Which Started Off Really Slow Due To No Promotion but Picked Up Afterwards. In Mid 2005 After The mixtape Was Out In The Streets he Decided To Go Back To Florida to Visit Family. A Short Time After Roy Jones And Tarver Were In The Tampa Area For The Fight, So He decided To Reach Out And See What They Do. Hooking Up With Bodyhead Entertainment in 2005 He Currently Handles All Their Chopped & Screwed Albums Until This Day. After This happened Chamillionaire was Set To Hook Up With Universal Records So He Decided its Time to Re-Release The Volume 5 Mixtape With Bonus Material. He Decided To Reach Out To OG Ron C In Early 2006 To Drop Chopped & Screwed Volume 6 And Some Other Projects To Build The Buzz All Over Again. At This Time He Started Pushing Volume 5 Out Solo And Now The Buzz Is Slowly Comming Back. Volume 6 Will Be Comming 11-21-2006 And Is Going To Put Him Over The Top With A Follow Up: Volume 7 With Tumzilla Of DSR...
