Downtown Harvest is an eclectic blend of melodic groove rock, pop, hip-hop, and dance. With three lead singers, big beats, and versatile song writing the band often leaves their listeners guessing at what will come next. Using various keyboards, saxophone, electric bass, drums, drum machines, and guitars, Downtown Harvest has created a multidimensional sound that taps into many genres both classic and contemporary. Their music has extremely original personality with catchy hooks, head-bopping grooves, and a little sense of humor. The group references Jimi Hendrix as much as C&C Music Factory as the framework for their sound, bringing explosive and contagious energy to their live show, wowing their audiences time and time again. The debut of their self-titled album in the Spring of 2006 was well received. Since the release, they have played over 150 shows at various venues, bars, colleges, festivals, and privately held events. Their next album, "Golden Dragon", will be released in July 2007.
