Dracula_tron was born in the winter of 2007 as an experiment from the mind of multi-media artist and musician, Anthony Bianco. “I was at a point where I was trying to evolve musically. I worked on and wrote for piano exclusively, but have always had a deep love for and desire to make electronic music. I also really wanted to create music that would be fun to perform, and I have always been in awe of musicians who create persona’s to perform through, like Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust for example. I wanted to become a creature who was sexual and scary and that’s when the idea for Drac was born, and the floodgates burst open”. The songs that make up the LIMOUSINE EP happened almost immediately, and were recorded within days. Months later it was released as a free digital download and performances to promote it, featuring back-up dancers and outrageous costumes, followed. On January 1st, 2008 Dracula_tron released the first single, ultraVIOLENT, from his debut full length album, The Uncanny Valley, due out in early February.
