CLGarbin's Album Review for Cinéma Vérité

Buried Treasure
This is one of the greatest, purest sounds you will find from the 80's. It was Rock, and New Wave, and almost as politicaly incorrect as much harder bands like Suicidal Tendencies. Their biggest roadblock to the success they so deserved was because the 80's were about being extreme. They were not extremely goofy like The Dead Milkmen, they were not screaming angst like Suicidal Tendencies. They lacked the polital darts of The Dead Kennedy's, and were far to rock to be dark enough for all those pre-goth Siouxsie and Cure fans. Dramarama was introspective, and emotionally raw. Had they released this albumn in today's music climate, I have no doubt they would be kings.
