OfTheI's Artist Review for D.V. Nobles
""
Sincere, diverse music.
It's really nice to hear someone who isn't just trying to make one particular kind of music or fit neatly into some genre-label or the other. These tracks range from moody ballads, to sweeping early-Dredg-like instrumentals, to quirky Aphex-twin style ambient tracks. In each case, there is a quality expressed which shows this person is really making music for the love of it. I'm not sure what to say about marketability, because I seem to be out of touch with the market, but if this artist were better produced and compositionally a bit tighter, I could see a great album being made.

Good honest material straight from the heart. A good live sound. Many influences here...sounding (to me) at times like Neil Young, Orbison, Clapton, Leonard Cohen... a great mix of styles. Give us more!
